Tauranga Lawn Tennis Club
Tauranga Lawn Tennis Club is one of the Bay’s premier tennis clubs, situated off Cameron Road on the Wharepai Domain in one of the most idyllic settings for tennis in New Zealand. The club boasts ten floodlit synthetic grass courts, a modern clubroom with bar facilities, and a function area. With more than 350 registered members, the club offers a warm, friendly atmosphere for both competitive and social players, catering to all levels of ability.
Members can play every day of the year thanks to Tauranga’s excellent climate. The club has a strong presence in interclub competitions and offers many in-house competitions and social events throughout the year. Regular club activities include Saturday Club day (1pm-4pm), Tuesday morning social play (9am), Wednesday Club Night (6:30pm competitive), and Midweek Ladies (Wednesday 9am). The club features a world-class coach and a junior coaching program. New members can try a three-month trial for $100 (seniors) or one term for $180 (juniors) before committing to full membership.
