Tauranga Sports Rugby Club
Tauranga Sports Club Inc was established in 1988 from the amalgamation of Tauranga Old Boys and Otumoetai Cadets. Today the club is extremely strong in the Bay of Plenty, having won 10 Premier titles since the new millennium. The club has produced many national, super, and provincial players including All Blacks Sam Cane, Carl Axtens, Luke Braid, and Kaleb Trask.
The Junior Club is one of the largest in the Bay of Plenty, ranging from Little Raptors (3 years old) through to U13s. Located at Tauranga Domain on Cameron Road, the club is positioned in the heart of the CBD. Beyond rugby, the club offers netball and touch rugby modules, making it a true all-inclusive community club.
The club’s goal is to encourage safe and fair play in a family-oriented environment with strong values, providing excellent facilities for both competitive sport and social functions.
