Tauranga Motorcycle Club
The Tauranga Motorcycle Club is a friendly and family-oriented organization proud of Tauranga’s rich history in motorcycle sport. Based at TECT Park off Pyes Pa Road, the club operates a professionally maintained motocross track that opened in February 2015.
The club has produced numerous national champions including Cody Cooper, Dixie Dean, and many others, truly earning its reputation as “The Breeding Ground of Champions.” In 2021, the club won two prestigious awards from Motorcycling New Zealand: the Bryan Davidson Memorial Junior Club Cup and the Most Improved Performance Award for hosting the Junior Nationals Championship Event.
The club welcomes new members of all ages and skill levels, offering regular club days, championships, and practice sessions. Membership can be completed online and the club actively encourages participation from new and existing members in monthly committee meetings to help shape the future of the sport in the Bay of Plenty.
